What is Viewlyt Studio?
Viewlyt Studio is a desktop app (Windows and Mac) and cloud service for photographers. You upload your event photos, deliver them to clients in a private gallery, and let event guests get their own photos by scanning a QR and adding a selfie.
Can guests get their photos without me sharing each one?
Yes. Put a QR code at the event. Guests scan it, add a quick selfie, and Viewlyt uses face-matching to find and send every photo they appear in. You don't have to share photos one by one.
How does pricing work?
Pricing is storage-based and one-time: you pay once when creating a project, based on how much storage you need and for how many years you want it retained. It works out to ₹10 per GB per year (10 GB minimum), with retention from 1 to 7 years and a bigger discount the longer you keep it. There are no recurring subscription fees.
Which platforms does the desktop app support?
Viewlyt Studio runs on Windows 10/11 and Apple Silicon Macs. Download links auto-detect your platform on the download page.
Can I control what clients can do?
Yes. For each project you decide what clients can do — turn photo selection on or off, and allow or block screenshots and downloads.
What's the difference between full project access and guest access?
Full project access shares a private link so your client sees the entire gallery to browse, select, share and download. Guest access generates a QR code you can print or display at the event — guests scan it, add a selfie, and Viewlyt automatically delivers every photo they appear in using face-matching.
For clients
My photographer sent me a Viewlyt link — what do I do?
Open the link, sign in with your phone number or email, and you'll see your gallery. You can then browse, group photos by face, mark your picks, share with family and download in high resolution.
Do I need to create an account?
No long sign-up. Just open your link or scan the QR and sign in with your phone number or email to see your photos. The Viewlyt app is free on the App Store and Google Play.
I scanned a QR code at an event — how do I get my photos?
Scan the QR, add a quick selfie, and Viewlyt uses face-matching to find every photo you appear in. You'll receive your matched photos to view and download in the app — no need to scroll through the whole gallery.
Is the app free for clients?
Yes. The Viewlyt mobile app is free to download on the App Store and Google Play for viewing and downloading the photos your photographer delivered.
Are my photos private?
Yes. Galleries are private to you and the people you invite, with device management and privacy controls, plus encrypted storage.
